Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Install Fibre Optic, Category 6 structured cable distribution systems

• Performs site surveys, assesses and documents current site network configuration and user requirements

• Prepares engineering plans for UFB (Ultra-Fast Broadband) Network design and site installation technical design packages.

• Provides coordination in the design, analysis and installation process.

• Installation of outlets, pulling cable and per-termination including organising, forming, dressing and labelling cables to industry standards.

• Install, maintain/repair, and tests residential/small b business telecommunication service (POTS and DSL)

• Connects wires and cables to terminals and attaches/detaches various kinds of hardware to wires, cables and buildings

• Accurately test fibre (single mode) cable to required certification

• Provide on the job training to trainee fibre technicians.

• Undertake installation documentation as required and support other teams to complete documentation

Projects:

• Cloudlake: This project facilitates for ETL pipelines to extract, transform and load data for ROSIA

• Cloudview: This project is to display and visualise data generated by cloudlake

• CvReports: Project to prepare and automate report delivery

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Designers and other Engineering Teams to represent the Product Engineering team.

• Responsible for architecting, building and deliver all the components necessary for the products and platform, to ensure development and delivery of high performance products, services, and user experience

• Collaborate closely with the Product Engineering Team Leader or Manager to define and contribute to the overall direction of our products and platform.

• Develop guidelines, embrace and implement effective engineering processes and best practices.

• Guide teammates and other colleagues to allow them to develop and achieve their full potential

• Instaloan: Automatic Loan application and disbursement system without human approval according to a set of rules set by a financial organisation.
